I totally agree the country needed to be shut down. Weeks before it was and planes grounded weeks before they were.
What’s going to happen if they open it back up in a few days? More infections and more deaths and more lifetime disabilities.
The US virus distribution map shows lots of variability. So they may choose to let some cities remain locked up.
If they would stop trying to restrict novel treatments like HCQ and Remdesevir, we could start opening up (more gradually than we shut down) on that April 30 date, assuming we don’t have Special Kind of Stupid On-site Easter Service-related outbreaks.*
*Either do a car service like some people have done, or do it remotely.
If only China shared its early data with us, and accepted our help, none of this would be happening.
We all must always remember that.
