So you’d put the 20yr olds in charge of the business?
That makes even less sense.
Speaking of the President, does anyone know if there will be a briefing today? Maybe they are taking a break over the Easter weekend? I’d guess that lacking some major development or change, there’s no real reason to hold such.
They also embody the wisdom of our culture. All the Left’s undermining of the age-old mores and knowledge these people possess can’t match getting rid of most of them at once. There’s a reason why the next-younger generation does oral recording of their elders.
Didnt you just have this conversation with this person the other day? Hes just a Boomer-hating troll
AND the majority of that age group likely vote for Trump. Kill them off and enjoy Biden!
UK
Seven in 10 patients admitted to intensive care units in the UK with coronavirus were overweight or obese, the first data on Britain’s cases shows.
The research - which examined in detail the first 196 patients to receive critical care for the virus - showed the average age of those requiring such care was 63, and seven in 10 cases were male.
Hilarious! Maybe the one person who doesn’t have to follow the guidelines.
Actemra is tocilizumab. I’ve seen ‘anecdotes’ where HCQ/Zpack didn’t work, and then doctors used Tocilizumab with great results. A NYC doctor whose twitter account I check on (Dr Jignish Patel) had severe covid19, just awful lung xrays, and couldn’t breathe. Now he’s discharged and back on twitter.
There seem to be more sirens today than usual in NYC, most coming from uptown and including FD sirens. Could have been a fire up there but I tend to think not.
Could part of this be that the personnel in the nursing homes are not the same in training as the personnel in a hospital? Professionals who have learned how to avoid infections are undoubtedly more adept at keep things from spreading. Not saying this IS the reason, but maybe it contributes.

I Was Fighting For My Life: COVID-19 Survivor Credits God For Giving Me Another Chance
DOUGLAS, Ga. (CBS Local) A Georgia woman who received a heros escort home after surviving COVID-19 credits God for her recovery.
Barbara Killiebrew, 60, had been hospitalized at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas since March 18. She was put on a ventilator and appeared to be facing death.
I felt in my mind and my heart that I was coming back to them. I was fighting, I was fighting for my life, she told WALB.
But she said God had other plans...
Charlotte woman hasn’t left her house in three weeks but tested positive for COVID-19

A Charlotte woman hasnt left her house in more than three weeks, yet still tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday.
Im absolutely terrified, Rachel Brummert, who already has an autoimmune disorder, said. This is the sickest Ive ever been and its the most scared Ive ever been. From what Im hearing about ventilators, its scary stuff. Im really hoping I can wait this out at home.
At a higher risk for complications due to her underlying condition, Brummert said she listened to the health experts. Other than a trip to the pharmacy more than three weeks ago, she hasnt left her house once.
I really thought I was doing everything right, she said.
Brummert said aside from the pharmacist and her husband, who grocery shops but is temporarily living in a separate room, the only other person shes come into contact with is a woman who volunteered to drop off groceries at her doorstep once. Brummert said the woman later tested positive for COVID-19.
I barely had any contact, she said. I didnt even touch her.....
Sheesh. She probably didnt know when the lady that delivered her food said hello a plume of aerosolized cv-19 wafted into her house.
Do they wipe groceries? Mail? Its not enough to just be at home. The CDC has not done a good job communicating this.
Everyday I feel like everything is overkill, then I read this.
It assumes that the population and business implications are neatly divisible into ‘work with no risk to themselves’ and ‘stay safely at home’.
It’s a consequence of 2 or 3 generations of multiple choice tests.
There MUST be a good answer SOMEWHERE.
Except with this, there isn’t a good answer.
The 50+ age group are your big earners, leaders, owners. Many of them still have minor children at home.
I just don’t get it.
Realistically, anyone over 40 with a BMI over 30 (look around, that’s a majority of the over 40’s) is at a big risk of complications and extended illness.
How many businesses have people in that age group and don’t pass ‘the bus test’?
Ie, can this or that person literally get run over by a bus and the company not be in dire straits...?
Hubby’s business doesn’t pass the bus test.
MOST small businesses don’t pass the bus test.
