I just got done with an online weekly meeting with my business. We’re (all 7 of us) just waiting to be released to go back to work. I found out a few things:
1) Washington state has a ‘snitch line’ so people can report anyone who’s doing non-essential work. How Gestapo-like...
2) My co-installer who got sick just before we shut down (2 weeks ago) and still came to work....turns out he had COVID. And yet, I didn’t get sick.
3) After the meeting, I found out my niece’s husband is likely infected as well. Was sent home to self-isolate and rest and told that if his shortness of breath gets worse, then go to the hospital. They’re only taking in COVID cases that require oxygen...at least that’s how I understand it.
Prayers up for your relative.
So glad you didn’t get the WooWoo.
Lots of what Washington considers non essential going on in my ‘shutdown state’. I hear bulldozers/skidders working up the road. Clearing a place for someone who’s going to build a house. That’s the ultimate social distancing job herebouts. Sit in the bulldizer/skidder cab under the a/c and play your music all day long. LOL. Dumptrucks driving by, chicken trucks running, farmers cutting hay (yes, already). The only neighbors not working are the one in the oilfield and the barber.
Do you know your blood type?
Did you get tested? 55% are asymptomatic. Don’t want to be a spreader.
(Good Luck or Congrats, which ever is in order.)
I want a snitch line for the tourists. Just had a boatload of young guys go past with their music rattling the windows. And here goes another boatload of tourists. It’s Thursday so welcome to Easter Spread the Virus Weekend.
Just had 9 people walking well within the 6 foot distance past the house. More bleepin’ tourists bringing CV to the neighborhood.
