JERICHO, N.Y. -- Anna Fortunato, a 90-year-old survivor of COVID-19, has a message for the rest of us:
Do not be afraid. Do not despair.
"Keep on fighting, have that positive attitude, and pray," she says. "And get out of bed. Don't stay in bed all the time. ... And I want to say to them, 'If I did it, you can do it.'"
That she is here to advise others is something of a surprise to Fortunato herself.
"In the hospital, they said I was a miracle," said the Long Island woman, a daughter of Italian immigrants born the year the stock market crashed. "Maybe I was. But I worked at it, let me tell you something."

Anna Fortunato - appropriately named.
Anna 4290?
Unfortunately we just had our first local death from Covid-19 and it was someone I knew (not very well). 72-year-old man. I don’t know if they tried to save his life with hydroxychloroquine or not.
Well Ive heard of 90+ who recovered w/o the meds.
We need to know whole story about this disease. While the death rate is officially going up, I still dont know that this the Black Death.
I’ve been calling it “The Emperor’s New Plague”.
It is the deadliest disease ever known to man, but only the elite can see the bodies piled high in the streets or notice the skies black with the smoke of crematoriums running night and day.
the truth about the “Trump Pill” is leaking out around the edges on local TV news ...
“Anecdotal”
speaking of anecdotal, it’s totally anecdotal that having an entire nation “cowering in place” will stop the spread of an infection because a placebo-controlled, double-blinded study to “prove” that works has never been made ...
In other news: NASA did not land on the Moon, the NSA imploded WTC7, etc.
Maybe this stuff works, maybe it doesn’t: either way, many of you are definitely nuts.
How bad did that person’s symptoms get before they started to recover? Any comorbidities?
