I’ve learned a lot about personal prep in this event. I stupidly never considered masks and gloves before, for one.

But I think that our country needs to prep for future events, and the first step is to remove any dependence on any other country for anything.

We need to be able to survive and function as if there is no one else on this earth but us.

Exactly! But not only on a national level. Every state must prep as if there is no federal government. Every town must prep as if there is no state. Every family must prep as if there is no government. Redundancy and being as self sufficient as possible is absolutely necessary.

And even further, prep individually as if you are going to be one of the few sole survivors.

I know that’s not likely to really happen, but every family needs to be as self-sufficient and independent as possible.

That includes learning skills that our grandparents had, such as growing your own food, putting it up, sewing, repairing things yourself, being armed and ready to defend yourself.

We as a whole culture, have become too dependent on the supply chains and live as if that’s never going to change. This virus is a wake up call for those paying attention, that NOTHING in this life is a given and what we’ve taken for granted for far too long, can evaporate in a heartbeat.

Many people cannot handle that.
