Because it’s posted on Medium which is nothing more that a big blog. Very little of what I’ve read there is worth reading.

Putting aside for the moment that the site has no respectable credentials, does this make the information conferred in the article automatically worthless?

If you have kept up with the history of medicine, which I suspect you have, you know that there have been countless times in history where the majority of the medical community was absolutely wrong about what they believed.

Lister and antiseptics comes to mind, as does the germ theory of disease.
