Factories and other businesses reopen too. The key is to do a forehead temperature scan, those with high temperatures being sent away to get tested. If you have high temps you are Covid symptomatic. You are a spreader and large scale virus shedder. You are a danger to others such as seniors and the chronically ill. Those with diabetes and high blood pressure
When you have covid-19 with zero symptoms you are a minor spreader. You are much less likely to infect someone else. You are helping to develop herd immunity. Those with zero Covid can go back to work with others. Probably those with covid with zero symptoms, most or all can go back to work, back to schools etc.

In Taiwan any store that is open you walk through a mist of disinfectant, temp taken and given hand cleaner.
Just roll a cold can of soda against your forehead. Y’ll be fine. :)
Lots of other causes of a raised temperature.
Fever or elevated body temperature might be caused by:
A virus
A bacterial infection
Heat exhaustion
Certain inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis — inflammation of the lining of your joints (synovium)
A malignant tumor
Some medications, such as antibiotics and drugs used to treat high blood pressure or seizures
Some immunizations, such as the diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis (DTaP) or pneumococcal vaccin
Isn’t temperature inconclusive ?....do asymptomatics have an abnormally high temperature ?
Lots of health conditions include elevated temperature. And, there’s variation between people. And at different times of day. And depending on activity too. And folks with higher temps can bring them down too This idea to admit or try to block people based on temperature is unworkable as well as just plain nuts.
If they have to take my temp, that’s fine.
I just wanna be sure that it’s an oral thermometer and not a rectal one.
Some people will have a high temp for ailments other than COVID. Look outside, it’s Springtime, cherry and plum blossoms coming out. The acacia bushes that border the highways are heavy with bright yellow flowers, soon to be followed by orange California Poppies.
In other words, some will exhibit Hay Fever symptoms if they forget to take their Benedryl that day.
Taking temps is almost useless. It is generally 9% effective if you have the correct thermo scanner.

When I go for my cancer treatments, that is what they use. It is at a medical faculty.

In WEHO they will offer it rectally just for fun
They can keep their store then. I’m not waiting in line with a group of people, just to get my temperature taken so I can enter a store just to get a few items I need. They make everything harder than it has to be...yet they won’t make people have a photo ID to vote.
Americans have been getting the rectal one for some time...
