They are totals.
Georgia has had its biggest jump, and its only the noon update
perhaps their evening update came late last night (past 00z UTC) and will be added today ....so yesterdays count was low and todays may be inflated????
ITALY
Coronavirus in Italy, 135,586 positive cases and 17,127 deaths
In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 135,586 people have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (+3,039 more than yesterday for a 2.3% growth). Of these, 17,127 (+604, + 3.7%) died and 24,392 (+1.555, + 6.8%) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which we are sure are 94.067 (+880, + 0.9%. The bill rises to 135.586 - as mentioned above - if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, ie counting all the people who have been found positive for the virus since the outbreak). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.
The hospitalized patients with symptoms are 28,718; 3,792 (-106, -2.7%) are in intensive care, while 61,557 are in fiduciary home isolation.
Here you will find a «reading guide» of the bulletin, with the explanation of the various items; here the experts explain how long it will take to understand if the restrictions work, here instead what are the predictions regarding the peak. This is the map of contagion in Italy. Here the newsletters of the past few days.

I am looking at Worldometer, it is going to be bad. Looks like all the States with High outbreaks are seeing big jumps in deaths.
Ga 10 to 100
PA 29 to 61
NJ 86 to 229
NY 599 to 731
USA 1255 to 1268 This is at 1:08 PM. Many hours left in the day
Not good at all.
Btw, we need to stay at or below a 12,176 total today; or, at or below 1,305 today alone.

weekend backlog processed on Monday?
last Tuesday also had a spike 558 on 3-30 to 912 in 3-31 after a weekend drop/flat
But he does have a YouTube video so I guess theres that.
The Orthopod nickname goes back generations!
It feels like incoming numbers are doing the Riverdance on any hopeful feeling that were growing with me.
Dunno what’s up with Sunday/ Monday tallies from officials or number crunching sites, but I’m going to be careful to guard against this on future Sundays and Mondays.
NJ 229 up from 86 (got to be backlog)
1356 USA now
5942 tests in NJ if worldometers numbers are correct
3585 were positive
60% positive
The site I follow showed a huge drop on Sunday of about 9,000 new cases from the previous high of 34,000+. Yesterday, there were about 30,000 new cases - up from Sunday, but well-under the 34,000 of a couple of days earlier. Sad to say, the early numbers today suggest we might be reaching a new high.
“he left are apoplectic that they are being ignored”
Have you noticed that the Dems are trying to set up committees to oversee the CCP-19 response? They saw Trump getting the job done and now want to steal it away so they can claim credit and redistribute blame. They are such scumbags.
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old farts life, it's worth it.
“Btw, we need to stay at or below a 12,176 total today; or, at or below 1,305 today alone.”
Prospects for that are not looking good. It’s going to be a bad day.
