By an establishment that’s VERY invested in a vaccine solution for every infectious microbe. Because vaccines can be mandated AND are indemnified.
The goal was to hold us hostage for 12-18 months, with a heavy death count, way more hospitalizations while we waited for the sainted vaccine to fix us (and fix us in the veterinary sense).
I dislike people who compare the numbers predicted withOUT mitigation with the numbers achieved WITh mitigation. Which is all that other poster has done so far.

The available health system holds the mortality to about 1%. Once full, it escalates from there to the point that if you warrant a ventilator, you’re dead already.
That could be as high as 2% or more.
