Is it just me or are celebrities more liable to come down with COVID? I sometimes wonder if they think fame and fortune immunizes them from The Little Peoples Disease.
There’s 1000s of “celebrities”. Probably 10s of thousands of names we would recognize as such.
A few got it and conspiracy theories fly
Maintaining fame requires a lot of public exposure and travel so they actually are in a higher risk category, although I’m not immune to thinking there’s an element of attention-seeking in claiming to have it, speaking of maintaining fame.

They travel more, fly more, meet in large groups etc
My wife and I have not left our small farm in our 400 population town in 5-6 months other than to go to work.
Celebrities are more likely to be tested for it.
Celebrity is an ever expanding circle of tens of thousands of individuals.
The 91 year old actor from Jaws, Marianne Faithful, and now a musician in an 80’s pop group.
Imagine how many people have had roles in films, been in pop groups in the last 70 years, or been with Mick Jagger and you realize ‘Celebrity’ is a pretty large group.
And every one, regardless of how minor their celebrity status is - gets major billing if they get the bug.
Not that there isn’t news value, but remember how many people can be considered a ‘celebrity’ it’s just a perception they get it more.
