Supply needs to go all out. Hence the suggestion to use the Defense Procurement Act to “order” all US drug manufacturers (that are capable) to make it 24/7, and secure supply lines for raw materials.
I agree - but it will still take weeks to ramp up new production lines then get it distributed.
Yes. No knock on Trump, but if he has trusted his instincts instead of being talked out of it by Fauci, I truly believe we would already be distributing Hydroxychloroquine to everyone suitable. And massive amounts manufactured for weeks. A billion pills, or more, is needed for everyone.
But, he can roll it out as the “universal preventative,” start with 1st responders and med personnel, then older folks...
