That’s probably the plan - the issue is that there’s probably nowhere near enough for everyone yet.
Supply needs to go all out. Hence the suggestion to use the Defense Procurement Act to “order” all US drug manufacturers (that are capable) to make it 24/7, and secure supply lines for raw materials.
At a $1000 per test, and 18 months to a vaccine, we could just get $50 worth of meds to every single American, including a 60 days supply of HCQ and send everyone back to work, business as usual and then mop up the damage.
Yeah, I’d say that’s probably the plan.
