Groundless comparisons of this virus to Spanish Flu, and these overblown worst case scenario models - remind me of the claims of WMDs that were used to hype the American people into war in the ME after 9/11.
Then, it was military bureaucrats pimping worst case scenarios, now it is medical healthcare bureaucrats - both for the same reason: it makes them relevant and important - it puts them in charge.
In a month or two, when these Spanish Flu scenarios turn out to be wildly off the mark, there will be Hell to pay. A lot of angry Americans will want to know why they had to give up their jobs, their 401Ks - and their liberty.
It’s not politically correct right now to compare this outbreak to 2009, and other outbreaks, and to ask why business-as-usual was OK then, but not now.
But in the coming months people will be asking those questions - and I’m pretty sure I already know the answer.

Seems Tomi Lahren announced on Fox Nation that she had enough of California and is moving to Tennessee. She was in Texas when at The Blaze but Fox hired her and she came from Los Angeles. Which begs the question: Why is One America News in San Diego? Yeah Fox News is New York City is bad enough and yet Trump is from there but he too is planning to get out after his presidency ends.
