“Those who tested negative for the virus went back to school and work”
This actually may be the key to the reboot. Set up a “clear to work” system. Those that clear and who are exposed to the public use safeguards. Would I mind having a waitress with a mask and gloves? Not at all.
how often do they retest the negatives?
I’ve been screaming this for weeks. Instead of trillions on saving our economy, how about a billion or two for test kits. Test everyone. Separate those who are positive. Those who aren’t, wear a nice green wristband showing they are good to go. Go out in public, look for people with the wrist band, and don’t be afraid to be near them. Eat at restaurants, go to work, watch a baseball game.
The test kits are the missing link here, but we have to be able to come up with a way to make them cheap and plentiful, and it will end this.
