Just heard there as about a 4.5 quake possibly in the San Diego area.
I don’t have a link, this was just texted to me by a friend in the area of San Diego. Said the house rolled back and forth several times. I don’t know where the epicenter was.
A 4.5 in L.A.? That’s like cloudy weather in Scranton, isn’t it?
The 4.0 in Enid, OK seems more noteworthy.
Anza (Riverside county desert) 4.9 magnitude
Someone down below is getting restless.
My friend in San Diego said it shook a few things on her shelves...
The weird thing, I an about a thousand miles east and a bit north of there, and at that moment , all the coyotes, Elk and turkeys in the area went crazy for a couple of minutes, and were 'yelling' at the top of their lungs... then quiet.
A-ha... a 4.9 a little closer to the Salton Sea.
Very minor damage, if anything, with a 4.5 in L.A. The concern with 4+ magnitude earthquakes is if it will be followed up with greater magnitude earthquakes in the surrounding areas.
Yeah, I see Anza...That’s about 60 miles from where my friend’s house was rolling back and forth. Seems a bit widespread for a relatively mild quake.
Yeah, those never happen in California.
How far is that from Malibu where’re Harry and Meghan are now living? Just curious
Huh... Didn’t realize a few days ago there was a 6.5 in Idaho.
Yeah, we felt it here in Garden Grove. Wasn’t much, rolling motion for a second or so. No jolt.
It has been “earthquake weather” - unusually warm in So Csl. But it’s supposed to get 4-5 days of rain starting Sunday. That may actually be a good thing in the war against CV-19.
Must be a mistake. I heard earthquakes were fleeting California for Idaho like tax payers.
Damn phone. Fleeing.
Could it be they sensed this event from 1k miles away? I would doubt it, but ya never know.
