Two students from Stevenson School in Pebble Beach are helping out their neighbors during the stay-at-home order.
Bennet Bishop and James Nielsen started the Wenliang Initiative, named for a Chinese doctor who died in the early spread of the coronavirus in Wuhan, China.
The pair are delivering groceries for free to help those who are home bound in Carmel, Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove but are hoping hoping to expand.
"We both realized we were young and healthy and mobile and we figured it was our duty to help those who aren't," said Bishop.
"A lot of our classmates have offered to help us and carmel city hall offered to help us by providing us volunteers they have," added Nielsen.
They take orders on their website and deliver on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Report says fake coronavirus-related products are being listed online.
Fixed it.
Thanks.
