It’s almost as if the Democrats don’t want people saved from COVID-19

The urgent search for a COVID-19 cure means that the usual scientific approach to testing medicines – big studies with careful control groups – is not an option. We can’t wait that long. Instead, trial and error, along with an accretion of anecdotal data, is the best we’ve got.

This method has yielded one significant possibility for treating COVID-19: Chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine (which are similar malaria drugs), along with azithromycin and zinc. (For ease, I’ll refer here to the whole treatment as “chloroquine.”)

Funnily enough, though, the Democrats are incredibly hostile to the chloroquine. One has to wonder if they’re hoping, not for the best, but for the worst. Fairly early in the COVID-19 pandemic, China said that it had seen some good outcomes with chloroquine. Others began noting the same thing. In early March, UPI reported that South Korean experts recommended anti-malarial drugs to treat coronavirus.

Chloroquine also got a boost when Prof. Didier Raoult, a famous virologist, published a study showing that, of eighty in-patients treated with chloroquine, seventy-eight recovered fully, one died, and one remained ill. Raoult felt so strongly about chloroquine’s benefits that he concluded it would be unethical to have a control group that did not receive the medicine. On Wednesday, the New York Times reported that another study from China pointed to chloroquine as a possible cure.

It was obvious from the beginning and is beginning to be painfully obvious now - those Dems for whom political power is the purpose of life are delighted by death and misery - other people's, naturally. One notices a slight change in emphasis when the affected areas turn out to be the ones who defied Trump's early concern in a silly, reflexive, and suicidal manner, and those chickens have come home to roost. Of course the current mantra is "he didn't do enough" because the truth was "we didn't do enough" and there's no political utility in that. But you can smell the fear.

An echo of this attitude was presented in gory detail in Poe's Masque of the Red Death - let the plague rage outside the walls, we're safe in the castle. And they weren't, and they aren't. It is nearly comical how quickly certain political leaders turned on a dime from prohibiting this "unapproved" (a lie) drug to embracing, even demanding it. But make no mistake - they don't want it for you, they want it for themselves. And that's what it takes to bring the whole pretentious narrative crashing onto the rocks of reality.

Almost? They want dead bodies. Actually you will notice the media and Democrats already lost face over the number of deaths, so they talk up the “infected” numbers.

Secondly they leave no room for balance. Trump is not so suppose to balance the economy with public health concerns. Trump is suppose to shut down the economy and keep it shut down - for 18 months if need be. The public health officials are not helping. Easy for some government workers, or doctors in the field, who have jobs, to completely ignore the importance of the economy. Can’t feed your kids? Stop your bitching. People are dying, jerk!

All that Dems are interested in is power; acquiring, growing and maintaining it at ANY cost. They have started wars (LBJ, anyone?) for their own political advantage, sold highly classified midsole technology to China for campaign contributions (Clinton) and signed deals giving the worst terrorist nation on the planet $150 billion now for the unenforceable promise if it actually producing nukes for 10 year (Obama), so what makes anyone think that the wouldn’t want to see a few tens or even hundreds of thousands of Americans die and to tank the economy just to get rid of Trump? I not only don’t put it past them, I think that they are gleeful about it.

I posted an article on our HOA Facebook page about Hydrochoroquine and how well it was doing as was massively attacked for posting “Fake News” and people demanding to “Take that sh*t off our page”. By and large, all democrats hope this fails, even in that means millions die, their own families included. Don’t think for a moment this isn’t going on among doctors as well. You can’t even talk about HC without being attacked, it’s like wearing a MAGA hat.

We already have a control group, just compare outcomes with those who didn't receive chloroquine.

It’s all about the demographics. Older people tend to be more white and more conservative. In that context, this behavior is not very surprising at all. In this regard, I hope that that Chuck, Nancy, et al, “take one for the team”.
