We’ll never know the real numbers. I suspect even the ones we are using in the US are low (have local evidence) and suspect as cases increase the numbers will become less accurate.

I was looking at that last night when I saw the reports and twitter post about Ecuador. It looks like they are not reporting.

A lot of poorer countries across the world will not be making reports. Wow just thinking about it we will not really know how bad poor countries got hit. So Sad, we do not have the resources to help them..

They will have to make best guess on what the numbers are. Unfortunately some people will use this to say see this was not worst then a flu.
