Cough when she pushes you. That’ll stop it.
Brix has always been speaking in circles. Beats around the bush. Don’t like her one bit.
And she has bad teeth. Someone so high and mighty in the medical field, should never let their teeth get that bad.
From reading the article: I think they are stating China is worry about the global food supply being disrupted by the spread of Coronovirus.
Thankful our food production was not outsource.
Most hospital administrators also ran down their emergency supply of PPE in the flu season prior to March because that is what they always do.
Don’t waste your time with Steve. He is looking for someone to help validate his beliefs.
In the next couple of months when the Coronavirus are killing people he knows, he will claim the deaths are cause by 5G.
A local Just A flu person here has already move onto 5G is causing all the illness and deaths.
Summary: They are a waste of time to reply too. Having a conversation with them is like talking to my brain wash, extreme liberal democrat sister who just might have smoke to much grass in college. I just hang the phone up on her we she starts talking her thrash.
“chosen means of dealing with their own cognitive dissonance.”
Well stated.. I think some of them just can not handle the truth that is happening. I really do feel bad for them. But you can only points the facts out so many times.
“89yr old Chinese lady always shove me out of the way”
Because she is mean... :)
Sounds good, I’ll start one tonight for the weekend
it’s my turn anyways

I did some math surrounding the number of mutations between two #nCoV2019 genomes and the distribution of the number of transmission steps that separate them. 1/9

The latest (2019) Design Center, 3M’s fifth, has opened in Shanghai, China
No US company should be in China or any enemy country.
“I mean if you have to go through all that to avoid getting it, Im screwed.”
I’m with you on that. When I see the virus tracing in Singapore and Taiwan, nearly all of their cases come from either people flying into the country, or people who are in close contact with known, infected, people. There are a few mystery cases, but only 1 in 20 or so.
I don’t see anything regarding supermarket spread, doorknobs, or opening the mail. And it makes sense to me, for if it spread that easy, virtually the entire world would have been infected in a week.
My mitigation is limited to the following:
1 - Stay reasonably clear of others if outdoors (and upwind)
2 - Order curbside groceries
3 - Buy everything else on-line
4 - If I have to go indoors, wear a mask
5 - Let packages and mail sit for 24 hours, and then open
6 - Give my masks a day or two to recover if used
7 - Avoid contact with others as much as possible. My wife has not been within 50 of others except our own family - for nearly a month now.
So far, so good.
China needs to be wiped off the face of the world before they wipe off the rest of the world.
This hasn’t been proven. Doesn’t hurt to try but no one knows it will work.
“Well never know the real numbers. “
I was looking at that last night when I saw the reports and twitter post about Ecuador. It looks like they are not reporting.
A lot of poorer countries across the world will not be making reports. Wow just thinking about it we will not really know how bad poor countries got hit. So Sad, we do not have the resources to help them..
They will have to make best guess on what the numbers are. Unfortunately some people will use this to say see this was not worst then a flu.
Nothing should be shipped to or from China for the next 75 years. They’re a large enough country to grow their own food.
Interesting that the FluBros seem to show up at night...
I agree. Real death rate for CFR could be much lower than you would think just from the positive tests.
Daytime for Pandas?
GERMANY
In Europe, while Italy and Spain are the worst hit countries with over 100,000 cases each, as of Friday, Germany has recorded 84,794 confirmed cases but has witnessed just 1,107 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The low mortality rate in Germany, at just over 1%, is far below its neighboring European countries, and this has been put down to Germanys decision to implement widespread testing of people suspected of having the virus, as opposed to Italy or the U.K.s decision to only test symptomatic cases.
Karl Lauterbach, a professor of health economics and epidemiology at the University of Cologne, and a politician in the Social Democratic Party (SPD) of Germany, told CNBC that Germanys less severe experience of the pandemic so far was down to a handful of factors.
I think so far weve been lucky because we were hit by the wave of new infections later than many other European countries, for example Italy, Spain and France, he told CNBC Thursday.

You must be one of the hoarders then with 3 buggies full of groceries? :)
It took about 5 minutes to deal with the perishable stuff, most of that the wait to turn it over & deal with the other side. I pulled a few weeds in my flower bed while I waited.
Rest went into the garage to wait out quarantine.
