Three weeks ago I sent an email to my team telling them about the worldometer site. I titled it “ChinaVirus useful statistics site.”
I was almost fired for that.
I was thinking about retiring this year in January and thoght about holding off a few months to get my house paid off. I was tempted to just quit early over it, but decided to just wait it out. I’m a contractor and figure I’ll be furloughed anyway by the time this month is out. We’re all working from home and so I’m just “milking” the cash cow for all it’s worth until that day comes.
China Virus is not a good term for it because there will probably be lots of them
When you retire you should send them a letter with all kinds of references to the chinese flu. And tell them to kiss your ass.
I hold told my boss I was going to retire in July 2019, in oct of 2018, I was at a business holiday party where the F word was used every other sentence, told my boss I was disappointed in the overuse of such a word, he told me to grow up its just a word. In Nov of 2018 I told a joke at a small office function with the f word used once and was fired in Jan for that act. Good joke about Mickey and Minnie Mouse getting a divorce.
