I’m on staten island (PART OF NYC) and Everything is FINE.
Hospitals not NEAR to overflowing.

I LOVE watching your blood pressures go up :)
I checked, “No Replies” to your comment. Imagine that!
I hear ya. The “sky is falling” narrative is bound to come to a crash sooner than later. Here in Central Texas, I’ve had no problems getting groceries, although I might have to stand in line to enter the supermarket..for all of 5-10m. As far as I know, our hospitals aren’t even close to overflowing and we’ve had a grand total of 6 deaths in the county.
yup- Staten Island- the one conservative part of NYC is barely affected by the chinese flu- imagine that?
My wife and I intentionally avoided “panicking” over this. However, we’re seeing what our fellow Americans are doing now. Too many think it is the “end of the world as we know it”. So my wife and I have no choice but to do a costco run today to ensure we’re not in dire straights after the civil unrest begins.
Fortunately we live in the sticks, and have a good “natural” food supply. But still, we need to be somewhat prepared to handle the climate the MSM seems to be at least a little bit successful at creating.
We’re not going to go nuts at costco, but we need to do our normal stock up a bit early.

Hospitals in my area of Florida are CUTTING hours for staff. Of course, Wu Flu hobbyists will just tell us that is good planning.
As cases surge across the Island, 70% of beds at RUMC filled by coronavirus patients, hospital says
