BMW and leading italian bike manufacturer 3T have collaborated on a special edition all-road bicycle. the ‘exploro’ seeks to cater to the adventure-seeking clientele with an aerodynamic carbon frame and the world’s lightest carbon aero cranks.

Forbes - Bikes were almost flying out of bike, the cycle shop in West London on the day I went to buy a bike. I wasn’t the only person buying one, it seemed. The coronavirus pandemic is changing the way we travel, particularly in cities, and it’s creating a miniature green travel revolution in its wake.

Very nice. Believe it or not, I’ve been up all night listening to Kraftwerk, and right now they’re playing ‘Tour de France’.

I picked up a copy of “Minimum Maximum” a few years ago, and the labels on the DVDs were reversed, which apparently is not unusual.

I established an account on Zwift and set up an indoor fluid trainer on November 13th, 20 weeks ago.

Since that time I have logged in 2520 miles and ridden 207,920 feet of incline.

For March I rode 778 miles and 76,175 feet of incline. On March 12th I unlocked the Tron bike, last Saturday March 28th I rode a full virtual century (my first century) and thus completed all 67 Zwift routes available in free ride. Last night 3/31/20 I made my 24th ride up the Alpe d’ Zwift and intend to do my 25 Alpe run tomorrow which will earn for me the masochist badge.

In a few weeks the weather will be good enough to allow regular outdoors riding. In November my FTP was a pathetic 130, today it’s (a still pathetic) 187 (+/-2.84 w/kg), I’ve lost 18 pounds, now down to 142 pounds. I entered the winter in marginal shape. I think I can expect to see an improvement in my riding performance this year, especally on the hills here in NE PA.

This is the 29er:

I still have to fix the nail in the tire.

I once lined this bike up with one of those 'Smart' cars, and the car was only about 2 1/2 feet longer than the bike.

I was in this race in Stillwater, Oklahoma two weeks ago. It may have been the last major gravel race of the season because of the Wuhan Flu. (3 minutes long.):

Preventing cabin fever by getting out on my bike every day, weather permitting. Some fresh air, exercise, and sunshine is the best medication.

Nice job, FatBoy. 18 pounds off of you will definitely result in Pennsylvania hills being shorter and less steep!

Probably not exactly what you have in mind, but an amusing video.
