Mask or no mask?

There are a few "officials" ou there now saying masks are no good for us regular peons. That young man, Surgeon General Jerome Adams was spewing that crap today, and he wasn't the only one.

The dithering just goes to show how effed up this situ is.

It should be simple and straight forward. If you have masks, use them. If you don't, improvise.

We should not be getting mixed messages here and now.

If it doesn’t fit correctly, you’re going to keep touching your face to adjust it.
If you’re sick, don’t wear a mask. Stay home.

Wear a mask for the exact same reason hospital staff does.

Dr. David Price, NY hospital doc, did a fantastic, low-key vid talk yesterday.

He recommended a mask NOT because it will “keep you from the virus,” because China Virus is NOT transmitted through the air unless someone is coughing right in your face. It’s by “extended, long term contact” with someone who has it. But he recommended a mask as a means of keep YOU from TOUCHING YOUR OWN FACE and nose and mouth.

Hand-to-face transmission is the main way this China Virus is transmitted. The mask is “practice,” in his words.
