Honestly, the doctor sounds sketchy to me, 669 patients? He would have to test about 7,000 possible infected people to get 669, how does one doctor do that in a couple weeks?

I am not saying HCQ isn’t effective, it seems to be effective from legit people and doctors who are using it or have taken.
But I do agree with snopes that this guy’s story is BS.
Dr. Zelenko provides medical care to a community of Hasidic Jews who live together, like a commune, in a small town in New York. Apparently that group has a very high incidence rate of the virus.
Zelenko is MD in a town of 25,000 followers of an ultraOrthodox Jewish sect. Kiras Joel, NY. Satmar Hasidim.
The sect’s leader has reportedly told Zelenko to keep a lower profile.
At the time he says this was going down tests in NYS were limited to symptomatic and close contacts only and private doctors had limited access to tests. In NY positives to negatives are running around 1 in 5. So he needed to test 3500 patients in his two small offices. Test returns, even today run 48 hours. Now HCQ and Zpack have been used for a while. I know a young ER doc in Brooklyn who tested positive, was hospitalized in her hospital with severe symptoms. She was given HCQ and Zpack immediately with hi power O2. She was home in 6 days. Still suffering a bit but virus free. So I am not dumping on HCQ only saying the doc’s numbers are totally unproven.
I agree totally. He has treated everyone with the sniffles. He has no clue how many covid patients he has treated. This is a blog not a serious clinical report. People that tout this as evidence lose all credibility
