We’re in Upstate and have a summer place in Cape Cod. Are they saying we can’t get to our property. BS
I agree. I know people upstate nys who own a condo on Cape Cod. Usually there 3 months a year. They pay taxes. Why shouldn’t they be allowed to use it. They are not short term renters.
Upstate, then you're good :)
One if by land, two if by sea.
I'm on the Cape, and the NY/NJ/CT license plates are showing up about six weeks earlier than usual. Just sayin'.
And, the lack of facilities is going to be an issue for residents and non-residents alike.
It seems the New Yorkers are a menace to all. Especially to us in Pennsylvania.

When were you thinking of going? When the infection hits where you are, now? You’re going to be in a mess, when you get there and find someone else living in it.
I am trying to figure out how there is any control over the spread of an epidemic with people traveling all over to their different “properties”.
It appears there won’t be.
I grew up in Ostervile and Centerville, was really an idyllic childhood. Stay healthy and blessings to you. Hope you get to go, but if not your home and the beach will still be there when this is over.
Sac, even if you drove straight thru without stopping to pee or gas up, and took 2 weeks of food with you, if you get sick on the Cod, you’d have to get care there, putting strain on a locale that doesn’t need it.
