"What Good Are Constitutional Rights if They Are Violated When Americans Get Sick?"

So Napolitano is blind to the U.S. right to life as written and implied in our founding documents (written in the Declaration, implied in the Constitution, stated in Code and decided in many cases). The right to life will also be important, when something like Flubola eventually arrives, just as the right to life of the people of a nation is important during a foreign attack and invasion.

No one has a right to intentionally present a bio-threat to others. Remember that Ebola is no doubt being studied by foreign, evil empires, to attack us. It's highly likely, that those heartless entities are trying to develop some kind of Flubola. Who will be complaining about their lack of mingling with strangers for entertainment then?

As for the current threat, no one knows exactly how it's going to turn out if completely turned loose, and it's not over, yet. Oh...and down with globalism! Up with the U.S.A.! Let's starve the disease and win this November!

“No one has the right to present a bio threat to others.”

Agreed. I do not argue against legitimate quarantine.

I argue against the notion that healthy people should be allowed to be quarantined. I argue that we should not have to PROVE we are healthy minute to minute avoid quarantine. Historically, legally and morally this has been the case.

This en masse quarantine of millions of healthy people is unprecedented, illegal, and wrong.

[[No one has a right to intentionally present a bio-threat to others.]]

And yet we’ve done so for centuries- flues have killed many many millions- people get the flu- go to work, infect soemoen else- they go home give it to their elderly sick folks and they die- been going on for centuries- but nooen ever suggested we lock everyone in their homes regardless of whether they have symptoms or not, or face arrest before this virus-

quarantining the SICK is one thing- As you say- noone has the right to —intentionally— infect’ others (Though the courts have argued gay people don’t have to inform their many many one night stand partners that they have aids now)- but what about the rest of society?

Are we to do this EVERY single flu season now because many 1000’s of people die every year from flu?

That is the question- You can make your same argument for Every flu- not just this virus- but the argument borders on giving up rights every flu season
