Jimmy told Huell that they were marrying so she couldn’t testify against him if that ever became an issue. I don’t remember ... does Kim know that’s why he’s marrying her, or is it love on her end?

So Jimmy's first wife led to the "Chicago Sunroof" incident, lol. I completely forgot about that.

And he caught his second wife with his step-father? I forgot about that too, but I thought he was just exaggerating to prove a point. If he wasn't, that's really twisted.

Assuming it's true ... then after Jimmy's dad died (pushed into an early grave by Jimmy's thievery, according to Chuck) ...

... their mom re-married and mom's new husband cheated on her with Jimmy's wife??

The step-father is never mentioned (IIRC), so that marriage was probably "dissolved" too and quickly forgotten--and Chuck was kept in the dark. If he knew the truth he would've REALLY hated Jimmy, lol.

Wait. That doesn't add up ...

The Chicago Sunroof put Jimmy in jail. Which led to Chuck rescuing Jimmy and dragging him to New Mexico where he could keep an eye on him.

Jimmy soon met Kim at HHM. Just friends at first, but by the time he graduated from American Samoa (lol) they were much closer.

We know that Jimmy didn't go back to Illinois for 10 years, except for his Mom's funeral--around 7 years after they left.

So the second marriage would've been in New Mexico. Kim was probably aware of both marriages. She didn't seem surprised at the courthouse. Probably met the second wife too at some point (that would be an interesting flashback).

Somehow, Jimmy's New Mexico wife would have to meet with his Illinois step-dad ...

It could have happened, but it would be a huge stretch. I think Jimmy (or Saul by then) was just lying to Walt.

Right. I went back and read the info blurb about the show, mentioning that Kim and Jimmy create “a legal firewall”. So that makes sense.

I liked the wedding photo hHuell took — with a disposable (Fuji, I think) camera. For the decade this was happening it makes sense, but it struck us being pretty funny.
