Yesterday's thread here:

There was an article earlier today about the virus being transmitted to 8 people by 1 person in a Chinese bath (house?), where the temperature was 106 degrees.
The Pasadena Unified School District has temporarily stopped serving grab-and-go meals for students after a kitchen employee was tested for the coronavirus.
Presser Reactions: Trump v. Acosta, Gutfeld v. Williams, and All of the Leftwing Media Versus Mike Lindell from MyPillow.com - Jim Acosta sashayed into the presser and started flapping his high-occupancy c*cksucker.
Trump shut him down by saying that CNN’s goal was to incite panic, whereas Trump’s goal, as President, was to avoid it. http://ace.mu.nu/archives/386603.php
Agreed.
I'm not counting on anything.
I am going to do my best to make sure we are self-sufficient and prepared and whatever else happens outside of my control, happens and there's not a blasted thing I can do about it.
Oh, no!
We can’t stop the free meals program!
Notice how it says ‘temporarily stopped’.
I’m just wondering what % of restaurants have closed, or will close, permanently....before this is over :(
Several of our local restaurants have started GoFundMe.
CALIFORNIA
Coronavirus: Kaiser temporarily closing some San Bernardino County medical office buildings
Starting Monday, facilities in Chino, Colton, Indian Hill, San Bernardino, Palm Court and Upland will be closed as Kaiser postpones some appointments and convert many to virtual visits, according to a statement. Victorville Medical Office Building 2 will also be closed, while building 1 will stay open.
Facilities in Chino Grand, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga and Redlands will remain open during the consolidation.
Taking something as a preventative?
Hmmm.
TX
Burnet Co. isn’t testing. This from the county health dept. doctor - “Even though we have only three positives in our county, one of the families thats positive has nine other contacts, either family members or people they worked with that also have the symptoms. We dont have the ability to test all of those people, but we know those people are positive. One of the other families they have a family of seven people. All of those people have been out and have been working. The particular person who is positive has been out and working. When I asked them, saying the Blanco family, has worked here in our county. The Llano cases, one of those cases is a healthcare worker. These people are everywhere. We asked these people in the last week, where have you gone? A lot of them say they have gone to H-E-B and Wal-Mart.”
Those *free* school lunches are a joke.
The food that the schools serves is awful, the kids usually throw most of it out, and it likely costs more in gas to go for the food than it would to feed your kids homemade meals if you bought and paid for them yourself.
Which the parents of the kids who get free school probably don’t anyway because they are likely already on public assistance.
Should Nancy worry?
Doesn’t the virus have a short lifespan on plastic...
This tweet made me think of the “IT’S A TRAP!” meme:
“I’ll trade some fresh baked bread and toilet paper for a couple lbs of ground beef if anyone has any. All house mbrs covid-19neg, asymptomatic. Pearl City, HI.”
I hope Jim Acosta is taking tap water as a preventative
Great.
Super Spreaders on the loose, in Central TX.
Grrrr.
I just read a post, on another thread, that made it sound like Austin hospitals are not busy.
I’m wondering if a lot of hospital/outpatient centers are going to see a big slowdown, due to elective procedures being cancelled/postponed.
Spreading in Va long term care facilities
#&^@!
Other doctors have said CV will not be seasonal and that we’re stuck with it. CV seems to be enjoying the summer down under. We read about the hot tub where so many caught it.
I started out liking Fauci but not after listening to him after the first week and learning more about him and his vaccine. Follow the money.
I think it lives on plastic even longer than (regular) skin, clothing and cardboard.
Remember, in China, those who had the SARS vaccine were hit the worse.
Where’s obamy?
Agree...it’s terrible quality, likely the districts are overcharged for....and, WE are paying for it :(
A school kitchen employee has CV. Raise your hand if you didn’t see that coming.
