Fox Business Network fired anchor Trish Regan. The network made the announcement on Friday saying that they have officially “parted ways” with Regan. “We thank her for her contributions to the network over the years and wish her continued success in her future endeavors,” the network said in a statement. “We will continue our reduced live primetime schedule for the foreseeable future in an effort to allocate staff resources to continuous breaking news coverage on the Coronavirus crisis.”

Taking them too seriously is to take a model more seriously than it should be taken.
But it's a bit like arguing for a large army to defend against a Nazi invasion and some of the citiaens start arguing that projections of the number of women who will be raped is overstated as an argument for why you don't need an army.
And if you know that they you know where this is going unless you do something drastic to stop it.
I have never stated the models are facts, I’ve been stating they are wildly inflated GIGO models. GIGO stands for garbage in, garbage out. They are garbage models. Yet the fact is politicians are using them to issue shut down orders which are killing jobs and the economy. And you call me an idiot.

In viewing the evening’s hosts on their line up, the majority said the same, true words that Trish stated. They backed up those words with evidence of exactly what the MFM and other asses are doing. The death rate is not as high the infection rate is far higher and they don’t really want testing because the more we test the more we find out it’s not nearly as deadly as people are ranting about and furthermore there is an adequate treatment and many of us have already had it and are recovered to the point where we are ready to return to work. Get over it it’s just a badd flu season and this version of the flu will pass.

But on this you are absolutely wrong. These are fake numbers. And these are now proven false EXPONENTAL models. allThis data has been manipulated for political ends and there has been insufficient testing reported to reflect the outcome you have projected.

The number of coded flu deaths per year is only a part of the estimated flu deaths each week. I added US coronavirus deaths by week to the plot and got this:
I know it's not apples to apples, the estimated number of flu deaths is about 6 times higher than the numbers recorded by the NCHS, but there is every reason to believe that the actual number of coronavirus fatalities is also larger than the subset that gets confirmed. Our hospitals in New York are not overwhelmed.
We are not having a shortage of respiration masks or ventilators.
Governor cuomo was stockpiling them and saying that he did not have them when in fact they have millions Of masks or thousands in the case of Ventillation tubes. There are more than adequate ICU facilities.
This is liberal projections of hyperventilation to try and spin up a health crisis to blame on trump for the election.
By the time they complete few million tests we will find out that the death rate is lower than the common flu.

After trump is elected again. The epicenters of the disease which are the focus of everybody’s attention are amazingly areas that are bastions of liberal and progressive governance.

I did updates on the 2014 ebola outbreak on the thread linked below. Reality turned out to be way different than projections. The updates are the last posts on the thread. Reality was far different than projections and hysteria.

In other words the projected US deaths from ebola were off by a factor of 14,000.
The UK model has already been revised DOWN by a factor of 25. The others based on it will be factored down too, or will look very stupid. Wait for it!
Anybody know an email address at Fox that has an actual human being receiving it who wouldn’t just hit delete if one is to express outrage at Trish’s firing?

Be nice now. I understand exponentials. But your plotting of the DOUBLING TIME lacks context that does not account for density, population habits, and government controls, just to name a few factors. Showing the U.S. in a bad light doesn’t therefore tell people a coherent story. I wouldn’t come down hard on Switzerland for being #1 in Cases per Population, as an example.
