A Tennessee woman was recently diagnosed with the Chinese coronavirus after she ignored Nashville officials instructions to practice social distancing.
A few days before she tested positive for the disease, 21-year-old Ireland Tate told her social media followers she was aware of the potential risks but chose not to follow the guidelines, according to Fox 17.
So, Im aware that were supposed to be like self-quarantining and like, social distancing and all these things to like, keep everyone safe. I get it. Cool. Great, she said in a video posted online.
I just dont think that Im going to get the virus, Tate explained.
Despite the highly contagious disease, she and her friends continued to spend time together, publicly and privately.
When city leaders suggested people not meet in groups of ten or more for the time being, Tate still met with 20 of her friends at someones home.

Yes, she got it but like every year, many young people get the flu, suffer for a week, and recover. And then, their immune system is that much stronger.
Didn’t we all learn this in school? COVID-19 is not ebola and does not have some super high death rate like 95%. I would argue the higher death rate this year is more a product of the fact that certain countries have an aging population. Italy is a perfect example of this reality of an aging population because they are not having children and are murdering plenty of children in-utero.

Heh, I have never seen that one! Pretty good!
Cute but apparently, brainless.
She can use her time in quarantine to work on her English language skills... (like)
Not sure about her spreading the coronavirus, but she’s definitely a vector for dumb blond jokes.
I would like there to be follow up on this group of 20 and their spheres of influence, so to speak. I hope the health officials are tracking all of them.
Could be a nice miniature study. Anecdotal even.
LOL Thanx I am afraid to show it to my wife! LOL
They were released before they were recovered. Thats what I read. Study is ongoing, but unfortunately the focus of study is upon the vaccine lottery.
1. We had more than the atypical dozen symptoms
2. There is no test I could get at this time
3. I treated at home, so no cocktail
Ill consider making a post today for what I did for myself since I was obviously one of 7 who get exposed and develop symptoms.
It was very mild, but if I hadnt intervened, I could feel it attacking my lungs and I have no doubt that I could easily have ended up hospitalized with lung damage.
Being a grandfather of several millenials, the repeated use of “like” appears to me to be a risk factor of that age group, along with several other dubious speech patterns and affectations...
