Child Abuse hotlines have slowed down because now kids are isolated from teachers, nurses, and other mandated reporters.
I think POTUS knows there are many reasons why the country can’t stay shut down.

Ah the women and monorities hardest hit stories surface. So predictable you can set your watch by it.
At least women have shelters to go to.
There are like 2 shelters in the country for men that are victims of domestic violence.

People have no place to go for recreation, socialization and entertainment. They are stuck at home and don’t want to be there. Frustration has limited means for release. The local targets are abused.

Angela Merkel of all people has been talking about the impact of lockdown on suicide and domestic violence. Of course she also said “Germans should fight this like WW II”. My daughter is locked down in Germany so I am following the country closely.
