There are probably a lot of people in NY and NYC that would love to know what Dr is prescribing that cocktail of drugs for the use against Covid-19 to people who have not tested positive and are not part of a clinical trial.

If you had all the resources of the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA, and you wanted to discredit Trump, one way would be to plant false hope studies, convince Trump of their validity, and then expose Trump's incompetence as a means of putting a Democrat into the White House.

Yes, it does. The problem arises when the situation is such that contradictory evidence doesn't get the same play as supporting evidence. I think the French study has been public for about ten days now. I'm not seeing the kinds of reports that might be forthcoming if the results matched expectations.
Some hospital somewhere may well have decided to administer the "Trump pills" to every patient on a ventilator or to every patient in the ICU. Perhaps its still a little early for that kind of evidence.
If we were living in the early 1800s and somebody just discovered penicillin, I think some really great results would have appeared quickly.
It's hard not to be impatient. My wife and I are in isolation and have been for weeks. She has completed her pre-surgery chemo and we are awaiting a decision as to whether she is ready for surgery. If she does have surgery, she could easily be in a hospital for a week or ten days. Hospitals aren't allowing visitors. I don't think we have been apart for that long in our 42 years together.
We are really doing quite well but things are a confusing mess.

I am repeating info from the French Testing, The Dr in Monroe NY who says he has documented treatment of 350 patients with the virus using these medications.
Measurable results were seen within 6 days on ALL of them. All of the “anecdotal” evidence says the same thing.
If you are saying that we can’t know until the FDA does there multi year tests and comes to a conclusion then that is your prerogative.

No, I was simply saying that the reported results of these (presumably) randomized double-blind clinical drug trials won’t be known “in days”.
And, yes, if my family members or I tested positive for the drug, I’d insist upon the treatment. Check my posting history...I’m not a member of Team Apocallypse.
But we will know in days whether or not the drug(s) are effecting an improvement as the other so called anecdotal reports indicated. There are hundreds of these anecdotal reports from real doctors and they cannot be ignored.
