Ok, Cruise ships need to rebrand. Now its a cruise ship. But its also an adventure. And a wait loss program. Join the ship with a very cheap flight. Then you may get bonus days if the ship is placed in quarantine. How great is that.
Or wish what happened on one of our many Alaska cruises. The ship’s auto-pilot mal-functioned, the ship was place on full throttle speed to maneuver a 90 degree turn (I guess it is a pre-programmed maneuver to avoid colliding head on with another ship heading for you). The ship naked 45 degrees and lot of people who were on top deck enjoying the sunny day got thrown about. Luckily my family was near a staircase so just grabbed the rails and hung on. Next stop was in Vancouver BC, and we saw a dozen ambulances taking injured passengers to hospitals.
To make a long story short, all 4 of us got free cruise vouchers for another cruise on Norwegian. It was great!
