I am cruise starved already LOL, last one was on Feb 24th, from Jacksonville, FL whose cruise terminal is only 30 minutes drive from home, so convenient, no flights, no hotels.

The last 5 years I have done a Boston to Bermuda cruise in October because we don't need to fly to do that cruise.
My wife came down with Alzheimers6 years ago and is OK on a cruise, but the flying is too much of an adventure now, so we will be leaving from Boston. -Tom

I know exactly what you mean. Previously we lived near Seattle and did many Alaska cruise sailing out of Seattle or Vancouver in BC. It was convenient. Then for a change of scenery we did a few driving to San Fran to catch a cruise. That was a long & tiring drive. Once in a while we missed the Caribbean, so had to fly from Seattle to Miami then check into hotel for night and cruise next morning. Hated the long flights, which cost almost same as the cruise. Now living in Florida, JAX is 30 minutes drive and cape Canaveral is 95 minutes drive. So convenient, we search for last minute deep discounts.
