What's in your medical home kit to survive COVID-19?

If the hospitals are unable to handle the patient load, and you are coming down with symptoms that may suggest you have the coronavirus, what have you stocked to self-care at home? I'm looking for essentials items that I haven't considered.

I too have never eaten this well. There’s always a silver lining. Always.

I’m so glad we are all thinking about caring for ourselves. Conservative minded people will come out of this situation stronger and more committed than ever.

When this all was getting serious my wife went to the mainland North of Seattle to buy one. Had to pay for it there then drive almost to Canada to get it. Apologies if I am straying the intent of the topic here.

I have turmeric I bought for some random recipe. What’s it good for?

In pill form it's good for anti-inflammation. I get hurt/muscle pulls a lot from doing stupid things on my mt. bike. and also from tennis elbow. and also from over piano-ing Chopin Etudes. And also seasonal allergies.

When I got turned on to turmeric, all those things went away.

When Clarissa Wright Dickson (one of the BBC’s Two Fat Ladies) recovered from alcoholism (her drink of choice being G&Ts), her doctor looked over her chart. “When did you have malaria?” he asked. “I never have,” she said. He shook his head in disbelief. It wasn’t until later that she realized it was the quinine in the tonic that caused his reaction.

Enough 12 gauge to feed the community with squirrel, venison, hare, whistlepig and still have enough to keep out “varmints”.

I’ve used for colds for ten years. Gargle at the first sign of sore throat and swab nose. Kills the cold in 2-3 days max. Sorry Mayo I like your site, but you’re wrong on this.
