Have you read the account of the black guy who took the chloroquine pack ? It almost killed him in an hour and then again later. But he woke up the next morning feeling fine. Lol. Perhaps the roller coaster analog goes well with corona.
Cruise line company, Royal Caribbean says the Voyager of the Seas docked at Mystery Island and the larger Aneityum on both March 11 and 12, after Vanuatu government authorities gave them clearance.
That’s despite Vanuatu having banned the same ship in late February amid coronavirus concerns.
The islands are now in lockdown because several passengers on the Voyager of the Seas have tested positive to the virus since the ship returned to Sydney last week.
Passenger Gayle Doe was onboard and is now at home in self-quarantine.

There’s no evidence the RNA traces remained infectious that long.
Just that the virus was throughout the ship at some point.

Biggest increase to date: 117 more corona patients on ICU
There are currently 761 corona patients in intensive care, 117 more than yesterday. This is reported by the Dutch Association for Intensive Care. It is the largest increase yet.
A total of 925 ICU beds are currently available for corona patients. According to Minister De Jonge of Health, this can be extended to 1037 on April 1. All in all, there should be 1,612 ICU beds (except for corona patients, 575 for other patients).
Diederik Gommers of the Dutch Association for Intensive Care says to BNR Nieuwsradio that due to the sharp increase, the more than 1,600 ICU beds that have been released for next week are not enough. “The increase is very bad news. This means that we will be there in 3 days, instead of 6 or 7 days.”

Mariner runs the daily thread. I don’t think he has an actual ping list.
I run the “bring out your dead” emerging epidemics ping list. I can add you to that, but be advised, it is a VERY busy list these days!
Just found a stash of several bottles of old (exp: 2017) 91% isopropyl alcohol.
Should I toss them?

True.
There ARE people who will have a problem with that protocol.
Hopefully no one free lances that.
According to Worldometers, the U.S. just passed Italy, and is just a few hundred short of China.
I know the Chinese numbers are not in the least reliable, except for this: We know they’re at least that bad. The CCP would not make the situation look worse than it really is.
And given that it all started there, there’s a certain symbolism involved in passing them. I spit on the CCP.
Now that I don’t know.
Not a clue.
I’d wager it’s not 91% anymore?
Maybe something online about that.
I know peroxide is dodgy after a while.
