To the honorable governor of Colorado, Jared Polis: Dear sir, I hereby voluntarily, and without compulsion, as a legal resident of the state of Colorado, give you my temporary permission to impose your 'stay in place' order from 6 a.m. of the 26th of March to April 11th, as you have written and so requested.

To support the goal of an orderly response to the immediate challenge before our state, and in order to display a proper sense of civic responsibility, I voluntarily accede to your request.

Understand, however, and with all respect due you in your position as the head of a state within the greater United States, that on the 12th of April of this year, 2020, I will exercise my 1st Amendment "...right of the people peaceably to assemble..." as I see fit and within the boundaries of civic responsibility, guided by the understanding that the Constitution of the United States of America supersedes any order of any state or federal official who seeks to limit individual rights in opposition to the 1st and 9th Amendments specifically.

I appreciate and share your concern for the people of Colorado. Have a Happy 4/12!!

Colocdn
