I loved my '68 AMX

and my '71 SC360 we traded for the '68 was one of the best cars I've ever owned.

There was once a German-built propeller train, based on a blimp. Fantastic speeds, smooth ride, safe for passengers. Not so safe for people on the platform. Became a character on Thomas, named Hugo. Many design features were incorporated into “the Hamburg Flyer,” whose name is more directly translated to the much funnier, “Flying Hamburger.”

Oh, that thing was a rocket.
You’d expect it to have a little tiny engine, but no.
Had a V-8 under the hood.
If I found another one (And had the $$$), I’d get it again.

I had an SC360 in High School and College then restored it in the mid 1980's:

I've owned and driven a lot of classic and modern muscle cars and the SC360 was of the best cars of the muscle car era.

One thing that caught my eye in this article...

"5-meter-wide airplane propeller"

Perhaps not... that would be 16 and a half feet!
