A 40th gathering in Connecticut has been dubbed 'party zero' after guests became infected and spread coronavirus across several states and the around the world. About 50 guests reportedly gathered on March 5 at a home in the wealthy suburb of Westport for a lavish buffet and celebration. After the event, roughly half of those at the party became infected with the disease, then transmitted it to other states and the rest of the world. According to the New York Times, guests left that evening for Johannesburg, New York City, other parts of Connecticut and the wider US. One of the guests was a 43-year-old South African businessman who started to feel ill during his flight home.

Just what exactly was going on at that "party?" Sounds like they were getting awfully up close and personal, like one of those scenes from Billions. Were they snorting coke from the same straw, and other unmentionable practices.
That won’t be anything compared to Spring Break.
And now they will be migrating N & S to escape the plague and take it with them and infect others

GCS = Grand Central Station.
A guy who lived in New Rochelle, about a 40 minute ride on the train from GCS commuted on MetroNorth for apparently about a week while being sick. He then walked through GCS, which on a typical weekday has about 500,000 people go through it (and up to 750,000 on some days), through the crowd and across the street to his office each morning, and then back through all of that in the evening. He also went to Synagogue, and a couple of other large get-togethers.
I’m not blaming him. I’m just looking at the trail of infection possible.
Not really surprising. After all, this is the same state which inflicted Richard Blumenthal on the nation.
Rich bastards. There are some, minor anti-entitlement giggles coming from me.
Anything’s possible. I’d be suspicious of fomite contamination from the buffet.
Even multi-mullionaires double dip... and I’m not talking about the salsa. Well maybe the salsa, too.
