We are home. All is well, except Pat can’t go to work until the 11th, on the off chance our cold is Covid, which it’s not, but at least they’ll have him back after his “quarantine,” and he’ll get lots of Driving Adventures in.

Sorry to hear about the colds. Some of us need more Driving Adventures! And now, I’m off to wash clothes!

DP took the Driving Adventure to pick James and Vlad up from the church youth group. He always comes back acting terrified. Being a “supervising driver” is not his strong point.

Back in a minute with a kitteh.

Excuse me? Whose idea was this Monday?

Kitteh has the right idea!

Good morning.

The laundry is done, waiting to be hung up, and I think as soon as that’s done, I’ll go swap out the clothes and get rid of some that are taking up space in the closet.

I got a phone call in the middle of my night, from the nephew in Tucson who gave me so much grief at my Unreal Brother’s funeral 18 months ago. No mention of that, but its OK. The fact that he’s talking to me is a good thing.

I also got two emails from distant and not-so-distant family members, looking for personal and genealogical information. This is within the space of 48 hours. Coincidence? I think not.

There was a yarn/pattern catalog in the mail and I consider it cruel and unusual punishment. I love the looks, colors and textures of the new yarns. They are so luscious! Like the stuff you sent me. :o]

Yes, catalogs can be torture.

I have a load of wash in the dryer, but I’m waiting until 6:15 to check on it, so as not to disturb the sleeping-in population.

I just posted a personal screed on FB, so now, I’m going to hang up the clothes. ;o]

My bad!

I’m sorry, but I had to LOL at DP’s Driving Adventure with Pat. Terror as a passenger is a feeling I know well, and I guess that’s why I find it a little on the funny side when it happens to others. I’ll go to heck for that, I’m sure!

Oh, dear. Facebook is as evil as catalogs!

“I asked Pat a question as we were approaching a stop light, and he almost ran the light while he was thinking about the answer.”

DUH! The kid’s been your son for 18 years. You should know better.

...Facebook is as evil as catalogs!

But not nearly as satisfying. At least the catalogs have eye candy. FB sometimes has brain candy, but lately it's just reading about the evil wishes of one group for another. I stay there because of my family, but there are a lot of FRiends there, too. However, there are some people that I feel I can "unfriend" and not miss them at all.

I ran across that problem, too. The Other Parent being surprised at the behavior of an offspring he lived with for 17 years. I think it’s a Guy Thing.

The trait probably conveyed some sort of survival advantage on the African savannahs or the Central Asian steppe.

Today’s Driving Adventure will involve a quest for crickets for the gecko.

Sorry, Kitteh. I have no answer for you.

After an hour’s search, I finally found a photo of the flight cage, and in it were two Muppet Birds. The originals.

So I can put it up for sale and get it out of my kitchen. I need the space for stacking boxes.

Good Monday morning, ArGee. I’m glad to see you’re here. Is the program working OK, now? After the initial start-up pains, that is.

Nope. Said card may be in today’s mail. If it is, I’ll make sure I go and get it!

It will be the item that’s not a bill or an evil catalog.

Yes, bills and evil catalogs always have to wait until I feel like going over to get them. Letters and cards, however, get immediate attention!
