Good morning. I need to pull myself together, dress warmly, and start organizing the loading-up for the campout. Having done most of the pre-trip work, I don’t feel badly about expecting the Male Family Members to do most of the efforts once we get there!

I understand about pulling yourself together. The worst mornings are the ones where I’m all over the place.

I’m all over the place this morning. I’ve managed to put a line through some chores but only one phone call has been made of the four on the list, and now, I don’t want to do much of anything. So I won’t.

Cool and dry here. I’m not feeling to shabby today, but I don’t think much will get done.

We had lots of dry during the day yesterday but rain again this morning - mostly a sprinkle.

It is cooling things.

Our low will be 57° shortly, which means I need to break out the winter stuff, and use a heavier jacket to go out in the early morning dark.

No rain for months, here, but cooling, just the same.

I wonder what Puppy will do when she’s in her first snowfall? ;o]

Our previous dog died in NYC so she didn’t see snow often, but when she did she couldn’t wait to climb on it and mark it. (That was apparently true of a lot of dogs.)

We’ll see how the current baby feels. She will see it a LOT more if this winter is normal for the area.

That should be an interesting experience for her! I’d like to see it, for sure! If there is such a thing as pure joy, dogs have the knack for it. :o]

I miss all my dogs and all my cats, and even all my parakeets. The latter, of course, I just re-habbed them and they went to forever owners.

Walmarts are always good for WiFi away from home! Once, a few years ago, I was able to pay some bills while sitting in the Walmart parking lot because my laptop died, or something. I took my checkbook and other things to Walmart, and under a sodium vapor light in the parking lot, I paid bills, about two hours before the store was even open!

The scenery in the photo you sent was beautiful, by the way. I love things that look like baby mountains....

Right after it downloaded, my phone stopped. Growing pains, I guess.
