Good morning.

For the benefit of all who may read this post, it’s official...my name is on the list in AR and I can finally start to pack!

Lots of things will be going out, this time. I’m not taking a bunch of stuff only to junk it on the other end.

I’m tired this morning, but the pills have been sorted and the trash has been taken out. When I get back from Walmart, I’ll get the shawl packed and ready to go as well as get the laundry folded and put away. There will also be some swapping out of summer for winter clothes, and I have to go to the library to fax the PoA to Cabot.

You know they sunglass holders, the “Chums” fabric straps? They’re made right here in Hurricane! I didn’t realize that until I saw an ad for them with the city, and realized I passed the place every time I went to the vet!! I just didn’t know what it was. ;o]

All last March Mrs. ArGee dealt with birds nesting in the dryer vent to the outside of the apartment building. The vent output is right over the guest room and she was staying there until I proved I had not contracted COVID-19 from NYC.

We told the building they would have to do something. Today they are.

Making for an interesting day. The puppy is most disturbed.

Holy cow. And all I have to put up with are noxious odors from my neighbor’s bathroom vent...

Poor puppy! I hope she recovers soon!

I hope the maintenance people are doing whatever is appropriate/necessary to ensure we don’t get any bad bird bacteria into our apartment.

It will be something. It’s been a while since I’ve wintered in such a snowy place. And I drive here.

Sometimes, the bird debris can cause some real problems, especially with folks whose lungs are compromised.

I forgot, in my excitement over the two phone calls from AR, to let you know what the doctor said about my right knee. It is afflicted with arthritis (of course, at my age) but it’s worse at the outer edge, causing my knee to react oppositely, and that causes pain in my right calf, because of the fibula.

So they will inject a steroid every three months to see if it helps and if not, them they will use a cartilage injection because I refuse to have knee replacement surgery.

From all the people I’ve ever spoken too about knee replacement surgery it’s a way to totally get rid of a major, acute pain for a major, slightly less acute pain.
