I would help you with your Pat Driving Event if I could. Shopping? I prefer to do my shopping online, or I’d volunteer for that, too.

I called AR again, and for the first time, I was at a loss for words. I don’t know what my next step is in this saga, or whatever it is. Twelve calls. Maybe by Tuesday, my mind will be rested up and I can give it heck for another week. Not sure where my next step is, now.

It’s a beautiful day out, and for the first time in a lot of months, I wish I could go out and sit in the gazebo with Charlie. *sigh* There are benches here, but not a single one of them is in the shade, at any time of the day.

I use the same rule we were taught in First Grade about crossing the street when I drive: Look left, then right, then left again! It has saved my bacon more than once!

It’s been very hard for me to sit here today without falling asleep. So I looked for anything to keep me occupied. I realized I still have a photobucket account, and when I logged on, they told me I was over the limit for the free account. Well, blimey. I’m going to download all the photos to the Slave, then delete them from the website and close it. I’m not paying $5 a month for photo storage when the Slave still has room on it.

As if I don’t have enough to do. The thought crossed my mind that if I can delete enough of them in the next few days, I can upload the book and document photos and then, with luck, put them on the USPS form and get it sent off. That’s why I checked out photobucket to begin with, but it has changed so much, and I would have had to wade through thousands of answers to find the one I needed, and here I am.

At that point where I’m starting to sound really goofy...stuff makes sense in my head but when it comes out my mouth or from my fingers, it’s a whole ‘nuther ball game.

Two hours to go and then I can high-tail it down the hall.

Cheated Death Again: Get Me to the Church!

Copies made, groceries bought. Aaaagh. That’s just in general, not any specific, near-death, aaaagh experience.

I need to take a shower.

Many hours of Lego sorting punctuated by a really sad funeral.

I’m so sorry you had such unpleasant things to deal with yesterday. Perhaps today will be a much better day for you.

Same!

I’m up, that’s a start. After coffee, I’ll make song pages for tomorrow, and Asuncion will be over at 9:00. I hope the other adult driver will take some turns with Pat this weekend!

This cat tree grows in New Zealand.

Ah! A New Zealand Cat Tree. No wonder I didn’t recognize the leaves!

Good morning.

I have no plans for today except to bring the water in and maybe drop off another box of items for donation to the Catholic church down the street.

I may write to my Favorite Son, but he sent a text the other night saying “all the chicks will be in the coop on Sunday and we’ll call you then.” I don’t think I mentioned you to him, though... ;o]

Since cooler weather is coming, I need to budget for a space heater, but the ones within the limits I’ve set for spending are all made in China, and I don’t want to buy from China.

I only turn on the baseboard heaters in the kitchen for the birds and use the space heater for the living room. Anyway, I figure I have about a month before I really have to worry about it.

One thing is sure: When I swap out the summer for the winter clothes, a lot of stuff is going in the donation box! I won’t fit into some clothes, and other things, I’m just tired of looking at, after 10-15 years!

It’s just hot here. On and on.

Frank says a cat woke him up. People hanging around in the morning tend to be assigned Household Tasks!

This was true in my house on Saturdays! All hands on deck! Turn to on the field day! ;o]

I guess I should nudge Pat out of bed so he can drive before Naptime.

All I’ve done is bring in the water, take out the trash and semi-make my bed. I feel like a slug.

Even though I thought about making a journal entry and writing to my Favorite Son, I did neither. My right knee hurts is the reason, I’m sure. And I think I didn’t take the 0800 dose of morphine...

I’ve been sorting Lego bits and watching a show, chosen by Kathleen, about zookeeping.

I put in a DVD but it’s mostly paused because I had Something Else on my mind and wanted to get it done while my mind was hot. ;o]

I think it’s ready to go! The finished product has been emailed to my Editor.

I had some chicken for lunch, Tom the Son turned up at loose ends, we gave the cats their flea drops and cut their claws. Next, I’ll check on the laundry and then turn on a World War II lecture and sort another pile of Lego.

I had a slice of toast and a slice of lunchmeat for lunch, not because I was hungry, but because I had taken pills.

Now, I’m going to see what kind of trouble I can stay out of...

I finished sorting the Lego, and it’s all in bags, except for a couple of pieces I found under the sofa cushions.

I've been thinking that when you're doing all this sorting you should be in uniform, wearing your sorting hat.
