And he said his first few hours of work were just fine.

...If I die, it’s not going to be in the company of a geek with orange teeth!

We don't want that to happen! The dying part, whether its with a geek or not! :o]

Cheated Death Again: Madness on US74!

Actually, it wasn’t bad at all, and we got the crickets. Classical music helps.

Classical is my go-to when I’m under stress, and I’ve wished, since the BB SUV was given to me, that the stereo worked so I could hear music when I drive.

So when the second stimulus comes in, I’ll treat myself to a new stereo in the truck, because I suspect the wiring is dried out. It would be cheaper to replace the entire system than to replace the wiring.

There are other things on the list as well. Like new tinting on the BB SUV windows and a clutch/brake lock. And other things. :o]

I was having a little private time with Jake when we were surprised by Pat, who, in spite of being asked directly, “Are you expecting me to drive you to work at 2:00?” had not been able to cough up the simple answer, “Yes.”

Gah. I’m going to buy some Pink Drink, since I’m here and in a mild snit.

I’m afraid something like that would have me in more than a “mild snit.”

I have somewhat of a “mild snittery” situation as well. But I’ll tell you on the back channel...

Even Jake is cranky.

I’m not just cranky. I’m getting a cranky headache, so I’m going to take my pills and go to bed. I forgot to call the vet about the cost of Gonzo’s beak trim, but it’s just as well. Maybe next month.

Anyway, have a pink drink for me, and I’ll see you tomorrow.

:o|

If he thought of needing a ride at all before actually needing to walk out the door, he’s doing pretty well for a male.

Speaking as one myself.

“Oh, it’s time to go? Should I pack?”

He’ll need to walk home. It’s only a couple of miles!

"Pat said he had a nice time at his first four hours at Walmart."

I've had trips like that, too. Was most of his time spent in the checkout line?

I’m in and out of Walmart in less than an hour, no matter what. I hate to shop. :o])

Dat’s gonna be a very pretty morning floof!!

Good morning.

The shower has been had, and now, I’ll take the bills over to the mail drop and send them on their merry ways.

Today, since I have four DVDs waiting for me, I’ll go to the library, and on the way, I’ll get quarters.

I got a response from the USPS about the format for photos, so today, I’ll try to convert the photos of the books and documents to jpg. files. I hope it works! If it does, I’ll be able to recover whatever they find.

Best wishes with all your efforts! I’m letting the kids sleep in a little, but I’ll nudge them out soon. Maybe we’ll go by the library. I have books to return, at least.

I wanted to sleep in, but my brain had other ideas. I was up in the night again, too.

Last night, I went to bed hopeful that I could upload some book photos, and this morning, I wonder why that even seemed like a good idea. :o|
