Around here we have these tiny fat black spiders that look like walking smudged asterisks...weird

Good morning. We have lots of different spiders. I put the grates from the stove on the kitchen floor yesterday while I was scrubbing the stovetop, and when I picked them up, there was a tiny spider making a web on one of them.

I’ve seen those in several places of the country, and I can tell you from experience that those smudged asterisks have a nasty bite/sting.

The fleas must have neen on breakwhen I visited.

I remember seeing a flea circus in a small-town museum in Texas, one of those places where they have anything unusual that was ever collected by anyone in town, causing a visitor who just wanted a break from driving across Texas to say, “Wow, who knew?”

One of the counties east of Salt Lake City has been closed. It’s a ski resort town/area, and the number of cases of COVID-19 is 19 times what it is in Salt Lake County.

It’s a beautiful area, but I haven’t been there since the late 60s and I think I would be disappointed with the growth.

Mayor Putz doesn’t panic. Every act is based on his belief that he knows better than the rest of NYC what’s good for them.
