It will be nice to move some things out.

If implants had been available when I took Lexapro, I would have gotten them. Now, its not even a dream. If you can do it, go for it. Presto! No more tooth problems.

I’m considering taking a vacation to Tom’s house, with my castle, in the first week of August. Depends on what the furniture looks like. I’ve never been in Tom’s house, just seen the outside when we parked the truck over there during the street-cleaning in our subdivision.

How are you today? I’m letting the kids have a lie-in, since James and Vlad will be back to tenting in the heat tonight.

Tiny little floofy ball of squeeful stuff!

Good morning.

It was another sleep-disrupted night, and almost exactly 0400 when I woke up. I guess I needed it, but I resent the lost hours of sleep, which translate into lost hours of daytime projects.

But! I need to get busy on the application, then make a copy of it before getting the MO to go with it. Then it will be on the way to AR today! Yay!

Once the secretary and the bookcase are gone, I can actually start to pack, having some place to put some of the boxes. I need to buy another clear plastic storage tub for documents. I don’t like cardboard, as it attracts critters.

I went looking for a tagline and gathered wool, instead.

What fun would that be to take the castle with you to Tom’s! And how would you get it back home, assembled?

Tenting in the heat doesn’t sound good. I keep thinking of the humidity I’ll have to contend with once I get to AR, but I’ll learn to deal with it. I just don’t have to sleep in it in a tent.

But the good thing is that I can drive my Favorite Son’s VW! He’s restoring another one, now, but I think he plans to keep them both. Or not. He may sell the green one before I get there.

James and Vlad are healthy young men. I bought James some Gold Bond Powder for his prickly heat ;-).

Those are drywall stilts.

I’ve actually danced on them. They’re very easy to walk around in after just a tiny bit of practice. Of course, you’d need to ask shorter people to reach the low shelves for you. It’s very difficult to pick things off the floor when wearing them.

Good morning, everyone. Happy Friday Eve!

I don’t like waking up to fraudulent charges. Fortunately, once I figured out how to call them, the eBay rep was very helpful.

It was only about $9. I’m sure most people with an active eBay or active PayPal account wouldn’t have even paid attention to it. I suspect that’s the way to steal a boatload of money - a small amount from a large number of people.

As the Wicked Witch said, “What a world, what a world!”

I keep a very close eye on my eBay and PayPal accounts because they are extremely important. I have things I couldn’t otherwise have afforded, thanks to eBay.

But books? Well, I have about five (I think) online used bookstores that I surf through when looking for a particular book, and prefer the ones with low or no S&H. One can’t go wrong buying books!!

Prickly heat is no fun. About all we had was baking soda baths for it. Sunburn, too. We had a lot of that, what with all the redheads and freckles in the family. My hair was dark auburn but I never burned and didn’t have freckles. However, I saw enough of my siblings with their freckles and their sunburns to know they must have been in a lot of pain.

In other news, I took some time out to put some Old English on the bookcase and the small desk, and later today or early tomorrow morning, I’ll move the bookcase out here, since the kids are supposed to be here this weekend. Yippee!

I just noticed that the top shelf of my desk has become a shelf for Things. My Lucky Kitteh is often not waving in the luck as well as in the past, but with a nudge, he gets back to work...

I think it’s just safer to use a son.

That reminds me, I need to text Tom and see if he’ll come over later for a steak dinner and also replace a toilet part.

Oh, dear. Patrick is trying to replace the toilet part. As the Wicked Witch said, “What a world ...”.

How is the puppy doing, ArGee? One of the ladies on my WW meeting on Tuesday said she was looking for a Toy Poodle breeder. I don’t know if any of the other participants messaged her privately, but I keep my opinion about yapdogs to myself.

The application is finished, and the requested documents attached, except for the SS card, which I have sent for. Now, all I have to do is attach the fee for the background/credit check, and it can go out in today’s mail. :o]

*fingers crossed*

Well, Patrick has to learn at some point.

Since I was a military wife for so many years, I learned how to do a lot of things that were traditionally men’s jobs. Right now, as is par for the course, I need a bigger tool kit.
