The morning floof looks like I needed him last night when I couldn’t sleep.

The shower has been had, and next up is a letter to Charlie.
He called yesterday. He’s as depressed or worse than Gonzo. They can’t use the laundry facilities on property, they have no place in the shade to sit (the nice covered gazebo we had has given way to a stupid thing that has vertical beams that let all the sun in) they finally have a drop box for their rent, but there is no way to access the community room (The LOBBY) for the TV, no more drink and snack machines; drug addicts, prostitutes ans ne’er-do-wells have moved in, and Charlie is just getting tired of living there.
I’m glad I moved, but I wish I could have talked him into filling out an application for here. I tried, knowing what was coming, but he was afraid to move. “The devil you know,” and all that.

I’m wondering if a larger cage might be the answer for Gonzo? The one he’s in wasn’t meant for the long term but was basically a “play/training” cage, so maybe I’ll see what I can find. He just looks so pathetic.
FINALLY! I got the filing done! There were also about 70 pages that needed to go through the shredder, so that’s done, but I also went to Walgreen’s. Turns out, the pharmacist has a peach orchard, so maybe tomorrow, I’ll find it and buy enough peaches for peach cobbler!
I think this is the month for “Peach Days.” Not sure... I’ll have to check.

Kathleen’s riding lesson is done. Storms are developing, but we still need to go to Walmart. Maybe I’ll put it off to after nap.
It took about an hour and 15 minutes to do the filing, but it was worth it to be able to have a clean spot where the box of papers used to be.
I can’t do anything with the genealogy until I get the adoption papers, so I’m just going to semi-sort through stuff tomorrow morning and put the storage tubs back in the closet. At that point, I’ll begin to take photos of my books, and have a box ready for packing what I’m keeping.
The new library card won’t let me into my account, so I can’t order any new DVDs.
I’m hoping I feel well enough in the morning to do the stuff I want to, but the nausea is back, so...
I hate it when stuff like your library card doesn’t work!

Welp, the library hasn’t gotten back to me, yet, so I’ll have to go down tomorrow and see what they have that’s watchable.
And now, I’m off to bed. It’s hard to keep my eyes open.

Someone (probably Rocky) is making coffee and it really smells delicious!
Still no word from the library, and the card numbers still don’t work, so it looks like I’ll have to go to the library today anyway. I wanted to stay home.
I’m drinking coffee. Then I’ll eat breakfast. Then I’ll get the boys up, because we have to leave for camp at 7:30. I’m just dropping James and Vlad off today: I don’t start work until Monday morning.
