My day just went backwards, and now I have no idea what tomorrow is going to bring.

This much I know: It will cost at least $5 for a new mailbox key and I have to go to the post office to notify them. But I was going to try and go tomorrow, anyway.

This is one of those days that started slow, but now, everything is happening and people are calling and all I want to do it take myself to bed, which I just barely had time to make 15 minutes ago.

And an appointment mid-August for a rheumatologist. Probably the one and only since he’s a specialist.

Well, that’s too bad. I hope he gave the Devil what-for on his way through.

My day just went backwards

Does that mean you're getting younger?

I think we get older regardless of which way time moves. As an analogy, we use up gas and wear out our tires both while driving TO Walmart and while driving back home FROM Walmart.

That floof looks like it has the tiniest bit of pastel peach color in his fur. Very striking!

Good morning.

Another awful night of mostly not sleeping. I resent every minutes of sleep that I’ve been deprived of.

I need to go to Walmart this morning. Before that, I need to sort my pills, and when I get home, I have to get some things ready to mail. Not all of them, but some.

The Storm Glass is clear for the first time in many, many months. It was clear for so long in Hooterville that I thought I had been sold a bill of goods. It’s amazing what a difference 140 miles can make.

(I think my brain has gone backwards, today, too.)

Cute plushy cat.

Good morning. I’m sorry you didn’t sleep! Maybe later ...

Drive carefully!

No, there is too much to do this morning to try and take a nap. My optimum nap time is at 0600, and this morning, I’ll be walking through the doors of Walmart then. That’s when they let us seniors loose. They even open the pharmacy for us.

I always drive carefully. I’ve always been a defensive driver, and I don’t see that that will change any time soon. You know, “Watch out for the other guy” kinda thing.

The pills are sorted and now I’m ready for whatever comes next. Like washing my face off and combing my head out. Or something. ;o]

I asked the other parent to call the yutes this morning. We’ll see how it works. Why should I always be the baddie?

Igor liked that I wore the Black Hat. It gave him time to concoct his nefarious schemes. The more removed I am from my time with him, the more I realize how truly evil he was. He just got worse with age.

You should never have to wear the Black Hat unless it’s big enough to fit both of you.

Thanks! Experience and hindsight.

The face masks were at my door yesterday, along with the pills I forgot to get with the bulk of my order, and I was relieved. I don’t need the masks often, but I would hate to be without them.

Since no one knows how CFIDS is transmitted (if it is) I like to keep the masks on hand for days when I especially feel ill, and yet, still have to be in public. Gloves for the same reason. I think I’ve replenished my stock of both, now, as I was unable to afford the price gouging perpetrated by the local Walmart. So I’m good for the next year, anyway. :o]

I’ll be out of here in a while. I actually don’t feel all that bad, considering the night I had.

I found detailed instructions online for a pattern I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and now, it looks like I’ll finally be able to make that throw I’ve been drooling over for so long.

Apparently you didn’t read “Christine.”

Which, as I think about it, was probably a good thing.

Back from walking about. The next thing will be my Weight Watchers meeting. Before that, I need to get on the scale, which I expect will be a less-than-cheering outcome due to having too much fun with Tom the Fun Son in the last week.

But oh, well.

And happy Trash Day to all!

I lost weight. No fun with Tom is planned for this week. Well, not major fun.

I’ve lost weight, as well, though I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary. Except maybe take a trip... All I needed was a push, I think, and the weight just began to come off. This is good. Another 10 pounds and my weight should begin to stabilize.

Webelos Adventure Camp will be starting. I’m not sure how many days I’ll work. It might be 4 days next week and 4 days the following week, or fewer.

Why am I always surprised by Webelos Adventure Camp every year? :oO
