A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
W00t!
Swooped in on that while I was working a jigsaw! Good job!
You’re welcome. Maybe I’ll do a puzzle later today. DP is talking about shopping, of course, but he can handle it by himself.
I still haven’t gotten around to the log, yet. The thing about that is that it doesn’t much matter the time of day because the symptoms will still be there.
The hardest part is writing letters during a relapse. Or doing other things that require spelling, word substitution and retention. I’ve often proof-read only to find that I wrote about something early in the letter and then wrote about it again at the end of the letter. *sigh*
I often forget what I’ve already told my mother, when I email her.
Lots of people do. This is constant. And frustrating. Grocery lists, journal, log, letters.... And the dyslexia reigns supreme through it all.
I’m grateful that I can write lists I can read later.
Now, I’m going outside to draw plants, before something worse (than Frank and Kathleen) befalls me.
Crikey. My phone just did a short buzz thing and I looked to see what was going on with it. It’s like it shut itself off. The battery is low but it’s been lower. This time, I couldn’t get it to turn on or off. I took the case off, and it came back on but it doesn’t look the same. Still I plugged it into the charger, so we’ll see what happens. Freaky.
Phones can be such a pain. I had a nice time drawing plants and making animal friends. Did you know wasps have very pretty stripes on their bodies?
I’m glad you enjoyed your nature outing.
It’s amazing the clarity that comes to you in that instant just before an insect stings or bites you. You can even see the tiny veins in the wasp’s wings and the multi-facets of the eyes!
And not all wasps are the same in their markings, nor how painful their stings are. Which is why I now carry an Epi-pen (even before it had the fancy name, and consisted of a syringe with one dose of epinephrine) when I’m going to be outside, in the company of wasps. :o]
The wasp I saw landed on a pink peony, apparently to get the water droplets, since it didn’t try to get inside the petals. Then it flew up to a nest it was building just overhead, under the rain gutter! Then it did it again.
Mud wasp. Or “mud dauber” as the late Mr Daniels would say.
I just finished watching the last episode of the “Endeavour” series, and I really hope they make a seventh season, because this one was about tying up loose ends and a bunch of new starts. I will now start to watch them from the first season again. Excellent actors. Stupendous writers! Worth watching, for sure.
Paper-wasp, not a mud-dauber. We get both kinds building nests all over at Cub Scout camp.
Not sure if this will work, but ....
Yepper. Word substitution. I knew it wasn’t right, but its all I could find in the gray lint. Sorry.
Thanks, Moosie!! I loved that!! <3
You’re welcome ‘Face.
Just hope it works for TC.
Nope, it didn’t let me in.
Confusers ,who’d ‘ave ‘em?
It was a few scenes from Midsomer.
I fear we shall be seeing flies in certain house Windows before long. Not from C19, advanced boredom.

If people had been prepared, they would have a hobby, such as ancient history or nature drawing.
