Fair point, however....living in central Maryland, I know of at least two dozen people—including me and my wife—who had the exact same symptoms of the China Virus 8 WEEKS AGO. A bunch of local teachers also have been posting that they had symptoms in December and January, and that a lot of kids missed school. We all had the persistent, dry cough and shortness of breath—very ODD symptoms that I have never experienced before, and all consistent with Covid19. The local docs were telling us that it “might” be bronchitis, b/c we all tested negative for flu.

Same here, started symptoms Christmas day, still coughing up phlegm to this day. Started out with dry cough, fever, extremely tired, short of breath, etc. I traveled with the family to Florida and back in the two weeks prior to Christmas and we were at Disney for a few days during said trip. I also was in the ER with my father Christmas Eve day.

Bort!! My husband and I had that too, right as Christmas ended. Dry cough, NOT chesty, coughed all night. We were all talking about it at work too - lots of kids/ tutors had it. I’ve never had anything like that either.

We are in So Cal, and there are a lot of Chinese south of here, and tons of back and forth flying

hmmm.

I became ill on Dec. 11 (my husband’s band concert - he’s the director). I was sick with something for about 6 weeks. It wasn’t too much different than a bad cold, except no congestion. I had a whopper of a cough, though. Lot’s of dry coughing spells so bad I was throwing up at the end of a cycle.

Had the same thing back in January. Felt like crap for a day then developed a dry cough that was very deep seated in my chest. The coughing got better but I can still feel it deep in my lungs when I have a regular cough. Maybe that is the lung damage they’re talking about?
